The Dailies is a 23-video 7-channel orchestral work that digests the inner experience of The News; daily sound bytes are translated into quotidian poems qua videos, presented in various versions indicating the Monday to Friday workweek. The exercise of the double-translation, along with the arduous work of pushing the global into the personal and once again outward, make of The Dailies a turning point in Creaghan's career and a tirelessly unique work. The series was presented at Projet Pangée in the context of a solo exhibition, TAP Art Space in a duo show with the talented Michelle Furlong, and one episode was shown at La Bande Vidéo. It was as well shown during a month-long programming at La cinémathèque québécoise, one played each evening throughout the month before feature-length films. It exists as well in book format, published in 2021 via Book Art. The Dailies N˚2 is currently in post-production.
